Export Documentation Support

Every document,
handled and cross-checked.

Most first shipments are delayed by paperwork, not production. Triyara prepares and reconciles the complete export documentation set against your purchase order — so your consignment clears customs without avoidable delays. Here is exactly what we handle, and why each document matters to you.

The Core Document Set
IEC

Import Export Code (IEC)

What it is

The mandatory licence issued by the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) that authorises a business to export from or import into India. No consignment can clear Indian customs without it.

Why it matters

It is the legal foundation of any genuine Indian exporter — the baseline that separates a registered export business from an informal trader.

Your benefit

You are dealing with a legally authorised exporter, so your shipment can actually clear customs and move.

COO

Certificate of Origin

What it is

A certificate confirming the goods were produced in India, issued by an authorised chamber of commerce (and supported by APEDA for agri-products). Available as preferential or non-preferential depending on the trade agreement.

Why it matters

Many destinations use it to apply the correct (sometimes preferential) duty rate, and some require it to be attested or legalised before clearance.

Your benefit

You pay the correct duty and avoid clearance delays caused by missing or wrong origin proof.

INV

Commercial Invoice

What it is

The final bill that travels with the goods — stating buyer and seller, full product description, HS code, quantity, unit and total price, Incoterms and payment terms.

Why it matters

Customs assesses duty from it, so it must be accurate and perfectly consistent with every other document in the set.

Your benefit

Accurate valuation and clean clearance, with no customs queries from mismatched details.

PL

Packing List

What it is

A detailed breakdown of how the consignment is packed — number of bags or cartons, net and gross weights, and dimensions per package.

Why it matters

It lets customs and your warehouse reconcile what physically arrived against what was invoiced and loaded.

Your benefit

You can verify your shipment on arrival and resolve any discrepancy with documented proof.

B/L

Bill of Lading / Airway Bill

What it is

The contract of carriage issued by the shipping line (sea) or airline (air). An original bill of lading is also a document of title to the goods.

Why it matters

It is central to releasing the cargo at destination and to documentary payment terms such as letters of credit.

Your benefit

Secure control over cargo release and a document that underpins safe payment terms.

PHYTO

Phytosanitary Certificate

What it is

Issued by India’s plant quarantine authority for plant-based products (spices, dehydrates, grains), confirming the consignment is free from regulated pests and meets the importing country’s plant-health rules.

Why it matters

Wording must match the destination’s exact requirements — a frequent reason shipments are held or rejected at the border.

Your benefit

Your plant-based goods meet biosecurity rules and pass inspection at the destination port.
